Hello! First, let me thank you for visiting J.W. Lee Photography. Photography has been a passion of mine since I was very young. As far back as I can remember, I have always loved being in front of, and especially behind the camera. Just the thought of capturing a moment in time to cherish forever thrills me to no end. I remember when my family bought it's first camera, a Minolta SLR. I was 12 years old, and lived in Iceland where my Father was stationed in the U.S. Navy at the time. Just the feel of the camera in my hands, the sound of the shutter as it actuated, intrigued me. After my Father retired from the Navy, we moved to Jacksonville, Florida where I took my first photography classes in High School. I was hooked. After graduating from High School early in 1996, I enlisted in the United States Navy at 17 years old where I was trained to be a Jet Engine Mechanic. After traveling the world, and serving my country for close to 13 years now, I decided that photography would be my career once I retire in 2016. Wanting to get an early start on things, I have set up this website to share my travels with you, and take you on my journey through through the lens. All of my work is available for you to purchase, so that you may enjoy and share with your loved ones, beautiful moments in time that will last forever. Welcome to my world, enjoy your stay, and please come back to visit often as the collection grows!
